Dear Parent and Friends,
Thank you so much for entrusting and sharing your children with us throughout the school year. On behalf of Fr. Najim, the teachers and staff, it has been an honor and a pleasure to work with your children. It is our responsibility to provide positive, Catholic role models, and a rigorous academic education. I believe we have accomplished both. This will be evident to you as you see your child’s report card and STAR testing results. We are truly proud of both the Christian values displayed on a daily basis and the standardized test results that show student growth.
Going forward, we are continually assessing ourselves: How can we do better? How can we continue to live Catholic values and provide a rigorous 21st-century education? We, as the staff, continually participate in retreats that help us to stay in touch with our faith and to deepen it on every level. This summer our teachers and staff will participate in professional development. As we know, there is no finish line in education.
Ms. Magowan, after many years of dedication and service to St. Pius X, is leaving the position of the middle school religion teacher.
