Pastor`s Message
Fides et Ratio is the name of an encyclical written by Pope John Paul II back in 1998. The title literally means "Faith and Reason." (I`m sure our St. Pius X Latin scholars already knew that!) The purpose of St. Pius X Catholic School is to bring these two realities--faith and reason--together in a loving, Christ-centered environment. We teach our young people the basics of elementary education in an atmosphere of faith and charity. Realizing that all truth has its source in God, we help our students to grow both in human intelligence and divine wisdom.

I am thankful to our principal and staff for their tireless dedication in the service of authentic Catholic education. I thank our many benefactors and volunteers who keep our school programs running smoothly. And I thank all our school parents for the personal sacrifices they have made to send their children to St. Pius X School. May this web site be a fitting testimony to all that is being done to help our students "do their best" and "be their best" with the help of God.
